It is with a regret that Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council pays respect to Cllr Richard Adler, who passed away recently after a short illness. Our flag flies at half mast in memory of a much loved Cllr and friend.
Richard was a well respected as a town councillor who served his community with passion and commitment. He was the chair of the Equality Forum, an active member of the parks working group and the Regeneration and Community Engagement Committee. He was a willing volunteer at many community events, most recently the Christmas Festival and the senior citizens Cawl Cennin, Richard worked tirelessly for the people in his ward and the whole community.
Richard will be remembered at the Town Council as the caring and compassionate councillor that he was, always willing to help anyone.
The loss of Richard will be felt all across the community of Pembrey and Burry Port.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his wife Gemma, and his whole family.
Rest in Peace Richard, you will be sadly missed by many.
